Have you been thinking about this Sunday’s special event?

Yesterday I was putting together an outfit for a RED party I will be attending over the weekend. As I discovered that I don’t actually own the perfect pair of earrings, I found myself thinking about Valentine’s Day and what it really means.

Is it just another Hallmark holiday meant for the exchange of jewelry, chocolate, flowers and cards or did St. Valentine and Cupid know something worth sharing?

It has been stated that most romantic relationships on Earth are actually a form of bargaining. Whether it is a pre-negotiated arranged marriage in a more tribal culture, or the more unspoken barter of “advanced” cultures which facilitate “I’ll earn the money while you take care of the kids”, or “I promise to take you to the doctor when you are ill if you promise to look good when accompanying me to my corporate gatherings.”

Are we to believe, as most religions re-enforce, that love is a trade-off? “You behave in these ways then you get into Heaven”…never knowing what heaven actually feels like. (Talk about needing some faith.)

Wouldn’t you like to know what Heaven feels like before you get there?

How cool would it be if you knew the wonderful feelings of Heaven don’t require you to do or act any certain way?

You simply go about life being you, practicing a few simple considerations for others, and POOF! you get to experience Unconditional Love.

“Love is an exchange of energy. There is no doubt about that.”

The challenge for those of us in human form is the “conditionality” we place on that energy. In heaven, in Spirit, All is Love and there is no conditionality.

How do we create Heaven on Earth? We learn to Love without conditions.
