Being Old Soul

10% Has Changed The WorldAscension

In his book Living With Soul, Volume Two, Tony Stubbs, engages in a rant about the challenges of being an Old Soul on Earth at this time – a time when old souls make up only 10% of the population. It is a wonderfully amusing narrative…when viewed from the Old Soul perspective. Here are a few excerpts from one portion (with my apologies to Tony if I have taken anything out of context by chopping up his work). I offer this here in hopes it will trigger up some additional dialogue about the unique challenges of being an Old Soul. ~ Carla

Some Old Soul Secrets

Let’s look at a few things that old souls know that the rest of the population may not be ready for.

First, there really is only one Soul, and its field is everywhere. Within it, dimensions stack up (figuratively only because the dimensions actually all exist in the same ‘place’) and higher levels of our own consciousness occupy the higher frequency dimensions, guiding the lower levels. Together, it all makes up All That Is, a vast matrix of consciousness. … The notion of a singular entity called God is widely held by younger souls, but we know this to consist of many entities in the highest dimensions of the matrix.

Although there is only one Soul, there are countless souls, which we can liken to lumps in gravy. It’s all gravy, but we find coalesced lumps here and there, just as consciousness coalesces into ‘lumps’ that we term souls. The One can appear as many, and the Many make up the One.

The appearance of ‘the Many’ can foster the illusion of separation, illusory because it is sheer impossibility for anything to exist outside the One. If a piece of the One tried to break free, it would just enlarge the One.

If Old Souls could be said to have one fault, it is self-depreciation, so strive to make your thoughts, words, and deeds shining expressions of All That Is. It is upon our Old Soul shoulders to present public examples of Union with Source to the younger souls.

Why do we bother incarnating into situations where the illusion of separation is even possible? So we can study ourselves ‘from the outside’ (in quotes because it is figurative, not literal). The illusion of separation triggers fear, which we get to study up close – something impossible on the soul plane.

Old Souls know that life is about the highest form of giving; younger souls ‘want their share first’ and think about giving only if there is something left over. Old Souls define the self as the larger Self, so the act of giving to Self becomes an act of receiving as Self….It’s all a matter of enlarging the picture. Knowing about the One, Old Souls are clear about personal value, i.e. we are all of equal value.

The Ultimate Old Soul Secret

Every culture touched by the Anunnaki has descended into worship of supernatural God-myths, and lost touch with the unity of consciousness in all reality. This has distorted who we think we are and cost us intimate connection with our own souls, with each other, with nature, and the mysterious process we call life.

As you move further into Old Soul-ness and throw off the superstitious belief in an illusory deity figure, you can begin to reclaim your true innate power as an incarnation of a soul, and fulfill that potential. When you reclaim your natural heritage and take full responsibility as a co-creator in the life process, you become the alchemist you truly are.

Then you can explore how your thoughts interact with that process:

- – -  Encourage plants to grow

- – -  Determine how people think and feel about you

- – -  Heal others remotely

- – -  Bend spoons and dowse for water.

In other words, you become a creator, not a reactor. These powers are reserved for Old Souls, because the mind that can bend a spoon can also start a fire, so purity of intent is important.

It is vital to step up and take responsibility, and to drop the illusion of the god-myth, so you can more fully Live with Soul.

Having overcome the wheel of karma, the role of Old Souls is that of dharma, which consists of three tasks as we come more into alignment with our souls’ Divine Will:

- – -  Learning the truth of who we really are – part of the One who willingly undergoes a difficult and painful process to incarnate on Earth –  and accepting that as truth.
- – -  Teaching others the truth of who we are, and what that means…if they’ll listen.
- – -  Living our life as a demonstration to others of the truth of who we and they really are. In other words, we walk our talk.

Exceptional Information

There is wealth of information about ‘who we are’ in this two volume set about life as a soul extension. I found this chapter especially interesting because of the ways Tony contrasts the ‘knowingness’ of Old Souls with the majority thinking on the planet at this time.

Yet, as we also know, all things are in perfect harmony. The planetary ascension is in full swing. According to I AM, a small ½ of 1% of the population has the ability to help catapult the entirety of humanity forward into a world of Peace and Unconditional Love. We do that, not by trying to save the others – for each entity chooses, at the soul level, the primary experiences of any lifetime. We change the world by changing our own resonance.

With love and laughter,

Carla
